A professional contemporary art gallery website built with Next.js and Sanity (Headless CMS). The core focus was achieving total client autonomy through a dedicated CMS interface, allowing for independent content creation and updates. The project required precise implementation of a designer-provided Figma mock-up, ensuring faithful execution of the client's brand vision while maintaining fast loading times.

Project: Paul Calligaro Inc. | Contemporary Art Gallery
Challenge & Goal: To develop a dynamic online presence for a fine art gallery that meets rigorous design standards and provides the client with complete editorial control, eliminating the need for developer intervention for daily content changes (e.g., managing exhibitions, artists, and press releases).
Solution & Technology: This solution utilizes a headless architecture based on Next.js for a high-performance frontend and Sanity.io as the backend CMS.
- Client Empowerment (Independent CMS): The Sanity Studio was customized and delivered as an independent CMS dashboard, granting the client full autonomy over all website content. This allows the gallery staff to easily create, modify, and publish new exhibitions, artist profiles, and supporting media without ever touching the code base.
- Design Fidelity: The project successfully translated a complex Figma design provided by a graphic designer into a pixel-perfect, fully responsive web experience, showcasing a strong ability to adhere to professional design specifications.
- Performance Engineering: Following best practices, Next.js was leveraged to optimize media loading, ensuring high-resolution exhibition images are delivered quickly and efficiently, critical for a visually focused art platform. Strategic caching policies were implemented to balance performance with the need for immediate content updates from the client's CMS.
